Rod, thanks for the comment.
The f/4 resulted in surprisingly narrow DOF focused on eyes (usually I get focused on a nose). No special extra sharpening and/or blurring here.

It's strange PP here a, the picy seems OOF yet the whiskers on his cheeks look oversharpened & sharpening artifact in the eyes. Maybe Konstantin is PPing on a laptop while he's travailing.

I keep coming back to this wondering why he is staring through me. It is the eyes and because they are exactly centered. I'm 6'3" (actually 6'2" now) and very few people ever look at me this straight forward. I keep thinking he expects me to say something and I didn't hear the question. -John

As well as the eyes and the color, the composition is very good. I just wish the focus wasn't quite so soft. Tommy, how do you know this was by RK?
