I'm not sure that even Tom would wait in the street for a chance that a pigeon would stroll by. He had more than he could deal with waiting for the person with the picture information on her back to turn and present. I would have taken the sheen off her shirt a little to make sure that the title information wasn't lost to a glancing eye
