Thanks John. I had considered cropping it out but it didn't work for reasons I couldn't articulate. Thanks for the help.
Thanks Mary Anne I didn't use fill flash. The light was low and bright so the bg blacked out. There was probably some indirect light from the reflections from water and white boats behind me. -tv

I really like the look of that healthy young hair in this shot, Tommy. Did you use a fill flash, by any chance? Or is there reflected sunlight on the two girls? I'm trying to figure out how the light is coming from more than one direction.

I like that Tommy chose to leave in the grout (lower right) in his crop which tends to make them float into the dark.j

Very very nice. This makes me feel so nostalgic somehow - either its because my kids have grown or because I can't carry my camera with me - or both.

Very nice and I like the lighting on the hair.

Thanks Rod and Doug. At f8 almost any lens looks good in good light. Thanks Jano I didn't notice the contents but it was some plastic bottle beverage. -tv

They used to say in the old days that light was sharpness & it's true, we can get some awesomely clear picys in the right light. These girls look perfect & it's not taken with a white lens. Beautiful picy mate.

The coloring is great especially for the poor light source. I like how their hair sparkles in the spot light. Nicely done Tommy. -Doug

Love it and the lighting - the guy on the right adds that interest factor as you can tell the girl on the right is glancing at him. Is that a bubble that girl on the left is blowing or a can of pop? jano
