Wow the light & shadows in the painted lady fits right into the picy.

thanks tv, Mary Anne, and Rod. FYI - the lady in the back is not a person but a figure painted on the tent for Fashion Week in NY. Penny Street

Yes the light is working it's magic here a, even her hand going into the handbag is well lit.I think the girl in the background works well for the composition of the light. My eye can go from the well lit hand past her head to the blokes shirt & then through the picy to the girl in the background making a beautiful curve. I don't thing the front girl is lit well enough to be the sole focal point so for me she is a part of a picy of the light. Fantastic picy.

Nicely done, Penny, although I can't decide whether the woman in the top left is a distraction or a nice repetition/reflection of the main subject.

Nice shot Penny. This gets down to what I meant about the light shaping and modeling the subject. I like the way you have allowed the black shadows to break up the image and the light to pick up and emphasize pieces of the subjects. Good highlights and silhouettes. -tv
