9th Place - Baby Eagle - by Troy

This is on the Fox River in Appleton, WI where many types of wildlife flourish including Eagles, Heron, Ducks, Geese, Pelicans and other type of birds. Of course, plenty of fish is available for them at this low-level dam.

This has a unique look to it Troy that I'm drawn to. The only problem is that the scene is powerful enough to draw attention away from the beautiful subject. -Doug

Thanks Jano. The weather has been cool the last couple of weeks or so. Had to wear a light jacket this morning to get this shot. I was able to capture some good shots of one of his parents also.

I agree well captured!!!! Lucky to catch an eagle, plus with him grabbing something out of the water! You're not too far from Iowa Troy... I've been to Appleton tubing... has the weather been cool there? This is a lovely shot. jano
