"Morning Glow"

Morning glow, morning glow

I was thinking, tv of the lines in the song:
"Winds of change are set to blow
And sweep this whole land through "

Can't think of "financial district" without thinking of calamity or impending calamity in a noirish sense, which this shot conveys for me more than "glimmer". I would have named it "Bad" for this challenge. Or maybe "Blood on the Dance Floor", an appropriate analogy for the damage of the current financial calamity. -tv

This is great YB. The brightness really worked well to keep the shadows sharp and defined. -Doug

What beautiful interplay of dark and shade - even the BH look seem to fit into the mood - Debi

Just that spot of light shining through - very nicely done. Love the "glimmer" on the water. The sun shining through the clouds may be a little hot, but then again i don't think it takes anything away from the image. Very artistic. jano

Nice to see you up and about again Penny - hope your recovery is going well.
And the answer is NO - Sunday morning should be a lie-in relaxing day, but we had visitors who were making an early start on the Euro Star train to the Continent and I had to see them off at St Pancras Station.

YB - this is terrific! The high ISO adds just the right amount of glimmer. And the golden tones are be-YOU-tiful!! Plus, it fits with the lyrics. Was it fun getting out so early?
