Thanks for the comments. One second was about right for this lens althouh 1/2 would have been better for this lens's sweet spot around f/5.6-8.0. I also like to set to shutter priority and concentrate on the aperture range for the prevailing light conditions - then manually fine tune. It's easier to think of one variable than all the combinations. The shot is from the window behind my workstation on the 32nd floor of 2 World Financial Center. -tv

Beautiful light & the sky looks gorgeous. It's funny how we all seem to take picys on the 1 sec limit a. Great picy mate, I probably could do with just a bit less foreground where there's no good light, maybe half inch off the bottom. No biggie as it looks really good as is.
Great color to this golden hour shot Tommy. The sun is finally in the right part of the sky to reflect off the buildings in Seattle like you caught here. Clouds keep moving in every time I've pulled out my camera though :-) Nice work.
