Great idea to bring your son to see it. Nice shot too. Penny Street

Nice composition--I can feel the tension of him waiting to start running.

Thanks Carole. Thanks to the media I was expect serious damage myself. They make news out of everything these days. -Doug

Great idea to have your son in the frame Doug as it makes a big difference on the impact of the image. Thanks for pointing out the "M" as I can see it looks a bit different. I was trying so hard to see some damage - I expected the whole place to be rubble! :-) CJ

Nicely done Doug, having your son in that position adds a real interest to the picy, good move.

Thanks Kiki and Brent. It was a warm night so I let him go for it. Everything is well at the mall. I've lived in Kansas so I'm familiar with twisters. When one touches down in Denver it's very rare so I think the media played this one up a bit much. It turned out to be little more than a few broken windows and signs. Notice the "M" in cinema? -Doug

Nicely done Doug, I expect your son now knows first hand people and tornadoes don't mix well. Is everything back to normal there now?
