This challenge has really produced some great images. I think I should use my WA more often. The sky, the halo, the metal tree I dont know why it reminds me of some U2 song. Silver & Gold perhaps. - Debi

The amazing sky could stand alone in this picture, that tree is an added bonus. -Doug

Very special. I guess this is evidence of the myth about gold at the end of rainbows. A few idioms about money and trees spring to mind as well. I would think this indeed qualifies for an "Unusual Objects" challenge, yes: No less than two of them in the image. (And again..what a highly cooperative sky! Here it tends to look like the Simpson's intro - or it rains - or there isn't a cloud in sight.)

Oh, and it fits the "Unusual Objects" challenge perfectly.

Agree with all said. I like how the "tree" is coming from the lower RHS corner and going to the opposite direction.

Thanks guys, they finally started letting people go to the base of this sculpture so I had some nice tall grass to lay back in just inches away from it. I'm pondering whether a stainless steel tree is weird enough to double dip and enter this in an "Unusual Objects" challenge? It is a bit odd...

The sky makes this a really stand out picy a. I can't think of any better background for this metallic tree than this one. Excellenti mate.

Surreal effects with the metal tree, dramatic sky, and halo flair all working together to produce an otherworldly image. -tv

Well I was going for heavenly surreal but if abstract is good I'll take it Penny ;-) Thanks for noticing the halo anonymous :-)

Splendid. The halo effect is really nice.

Cool. Nice bizarre looking tree against the abstract looking background.
