Years ago the Fort was restricted when I used to lifeguard in Sea Bright. I guess it has opened up to visitors now. It's time to pay a visit. -tv

tv-this is Sandy Hook Lighthouse, but from where I took it you don't see the top. This is out at the end of the hook at Fort Hancock.

Stan I used to live only a few miles from Sandy Hook and I'm confused. Is this actually on Sandy Hook or is it one of the Twin Lighthouses in Highlands? If it is on the Sandy Hook Peninsula, then it's time for me to refresh my addled memory. This is a good shot but the vegitation also is confusing because I don't remember anything but sand and dunes on Sandy Hook. -tv

Geez you have posted three excellent picys here Stan a. This looks really good with the excellent way the leaves wrap around the tower. The sunlight playing on the leaves & the backlit ones in the top right makes this really a pleasure to look at. Great detail of the texture in the tower too.
This is definitely a Canon camera picy a:-)
