1st - Homeless by Michael Shealy

Colorado Springs, CO

Where this lovely home used to "live" there are now 125 brand spanking new $300K, two-story, three-car garage beauties. Its probably laughing up its chimney, cuz they're just sitting there, too. Its been a tuff year for builders around here. They're going bankrupt right and left.

other sizes: small medium original auto

Thanks for the kind words, folks. Rod, I did the burn, but just for believability's sake. The word colorado means "redish" (more or less) in Spanish. So, we have a lot of soil that color here. The blues are pretty much as shot. I did whang the contrast while sharpening and also gave the saturation a tiny tweak. So, Rod, what's the topic for non-Canon shooters? Cheers, -mikey

Luvely grubely wide angle landscape Mikey it looks really nice. I'm not so sure about the glow going from the ground up to the wooden porch. It looks a little overdone for my wonderful taste:-)
