Thank you, Debi, Tom and RK. I like this lens because it can be used for macro shots; the minimum distance between front lense and subject is as low as 3 cm. Here, I came not so close to the white tulip because I had to keep off the flower bed.

Rod, I would have preferred to find a position where the background would be nothing else than the sky, but no chance, there were trees everywhere.
Btw, I do have another shot of the same scene from more above. I could crop it to show only the orange tulips but I don*t think I would like it anyway because it does not show the white flower or anything interesting:

Yes very nice use of the wide angle lens & the effect looks terrific. I was wondering if a shot from a bit higher up looking more down would work with this lens as I would like to see the same sort of shot as this but without the background trees. You know the frame full of flowers but looking just like you have these flowers here as they look just great.
