Actually, it was luck that I was shooting for these geese flying by and the tip of the barn roof happenned to be there. (not really planned) :)

It reminded me of that joke about why one side is longer when geese fly in a v formation. Clever to throw in the roof top to keep it on topic. Well done. -Doug

Nicely done Sue Anne. Good detail on the birds against the bright sky. I saw a couple families of these geese in a fresh water cove the other day. The little hatchlings are sure cute little buggers and look nothing like their parents- who are very protective of them.
