Quite a lot, the weather was late afternoon about 4.00 ish the sun was gone from this part of the garden and I doubt that I could have got these colours with natural light.
I seem forever using the flash in day pics with the 5DM11 because to be honest I do not like the way it meters light and the exposure always seems to be out somewhere unless the entire subject is bathed in the same intensity of light.

sometimes a flash is necessary but, especially with the Mark II, I'm wondering what you would have missed if you did this au naturale.

The colour of the berries look unusual a. The problem I have here are the direct flash shadows & look that flash picys have.

Beautiful image with wonderful light and color. The texture looks quite nice too. I think I am mostly okay with the dark negative space to the right (in fact that might make it special), though I am wondering if you experimented with different crops to make it a little less a part of the image as a whole? Very nicely done.
