Carole, for whatever this is worth, it relies more on the genius of Isamo Noguchi then my technique. -tv

Who choose this topic, you Tom or Doug. Your are doing great here, Tom (as is Penny). Must be NY water :) Really, those are outstanding photos you have here.

I didn't mention it before but I was actually curious about this structure. The various perspective angles and lines work together well but most of all, the circle. -Doug

I knew it. The abstract becomes an abstract. What a novel idea. Penny Street

Thanks all. This is the same as the sculpture in ctf181 Exhibition

This sculpture allows for many interpretations and I opted to post a less abstract version. -tv

Is this a public sculpture Tom? I really like how you have photographed this. Stunning! CJ

The safety hats are normally whiteish underneath but the more I look at this it might be a sculpture thingy as it's sort of too neat looking. Wotever it is I think the buildings are needed a.

You know at first I thought Sharon had a good point about cropping the left. Then Rod I assume guessed what it was (I didn't have a clue) and think he may be right about leaving the building in. Really hard to get a sense of scale here. Cool Tommy.

Excellent picy for the challenge Tommy, is this one of those safety hats they put out around dangerous areas? The building stops this from being just a shot through a safety hat & makes the picy work. Did you add in the red in PP?
ctfchallenge15-Apr-2009 03:21
Have you tried this with the building on the left cropped out? The right side of this image is very strong and would be stronger, IMHO, without the left side. I love the red and the tipped reflection in the circle. ~Sharon
