Love your portraits Debi, this one included. The tilt and composition is very well done. jano

Thanks Brent & Tommy- she posed for this pic, but apart from becoming a bit solemn was very natural. The moment I saw the basket I thought aha circle - Debi

Debi you've advanced to new plateau of photography with this one. Well composed, striking street portrait for all the reasons Rod already listed. Brilliantly on topic without clichés. -tv

Carole- Thanks for the feedback - Debi

I love this Debi! I would prefer not to have the tilt as to me it doesn't enhance the image and is a bit distracting - I feel like I need to tilt my head to see that beautiful face - but everything else looks really good! :-) CJ

Thanks Rod, Penny & Doug. Yes this is a girl and she was posing for the camera. I was not surprised by the natural look. Children some how manage to to do that. Though I do have a better one where she is giggling, because I made fun of her for being so solemn for the camera. I am also very pleased the BW conversion came out ok as it was not really working out initially. I have learnt how to fix the problem colours :) - Debi

This is a stunner Debi. The tilt works exceptionally well. Like I said in the discussion thread, a circle remains a circle regardless of camera orientation. Way to go. -Doug

I think he's a she Penny but in India it's hard to tell sometimes as they wear lots of colours & jewellery.I now know Debi is a bloke after seeing these picys:-)

the face, the haircut, the eyes, the basket - well done - lots to look at!!
and technically it's a stunner as well. So, did he know you were taking this?

Geez I like this Debi the gaze into the camera without a posed look is mesmerising a. The tilt on this works really well without seeing any horizontal lines in the background to shout out this is a tilt. The composition of the subject is spot on. Sit down & be saluted megirl.
