At the races

Still not sure what the subject is (I'm having a CJ moment :) ), but hope it qualifies.

Big thanks, mate.

I know I commented on this yesterday in more detail than I have now yet it didn't post (damn PeeBase), but the color, clarity, and light are all very special with this one Aam- well done mate.

Cheers, mate.

Nicely shot Aamm but there's nothing corner centric about it but it does the edges really well. At this late stage in the challenge it doesn't matter cos the off topic flood gates can't open now. Excellent action picy mate.

As for jockeys, you really have to see such a race in person. You will be amazed (with speed). They cross by like...Vooom! and they are gone..

Grrr, Tom. I choose this pic because everything is touching something :) Edges, you said :)
I forgive you, anyway :) So, is it on topic?

Neat capture Aam. (You probably never heard that word "neat" eh? It's from the 1950s.) Anyway, you didn't have to run the horse's nose into the edge into the edge to be on topic. I feel sorry for them all about to pile up into the corner. :-) All kidding aside now: good capture, but I'm amazed at hot little expression the jockys show. -tv

Thank you, Doug. Appreciate your comment. This is how it was shot, no cropping.

Side note: remember my twin nieces coming for lunch on Sat. Well, they changed their minds, they went to their aunt's place instead. Girls! :)

The lighting on those horses is great Aam. Along with the captured faces of the riders this is a heck of a shot. -Doug

You are being very generous, sista Penny. Thank you.

I'm not commenting on the topicalness of this but the photo is just superior!!!
What action and color - it's really wonderful and perfect exposure!!
Wow! Penny Street

Cheers sista Carole, glad you didn't object to the term "CJ moment". You are a big sport :)

Thought a lot about the top part before posting the pic, and concluded that the posts at the back touch the top of the photo...so maybe it might work. I hope :)

Aam, I'm glad I'm not the only one having CJ moments! :-) To bring this more on topic I think if you crop the top down to the hat of the middle rider you will bring the horse and rider on the right more into the corner and engage the top edge with that hat, and then you have stuff going on in the other areas too - at least I think that will do it! :-D I like your horse racing shots!
