Nice action shot Doug! Sounds like you're really busy with the soccer games. Enjoy them while you, can as they grow up so fast. CJ

Wonderful capture - he looks like he's trying very hard to concentrate, but something funny is on his mind. You balanced this very nicely between the corners. Penny Street

This is a good take on the topic Doug. It's interesting how the motion is frozen by tight crop and kicking foot almost glued to the edge. The triangular comp of foot, ball and head is a classic one particularly notable in Renaissance paintings such as Raphael if anyone cares. The triangle sits firmly in the corner so three points. some secondary subjects in the upper left provide some competition and balance. 3 more points. Quality points for execution and composition = 5. Total 11. (Watch out girls here comes Doug.) -tv

I knew this was a stretch. I figured I had the lower edge covered and thought that maybe, just maybe, his feet might pull it into topic even with his body too far into the frame. Between both of my boys soccer has 4 evenings a week tied up. -Doug

Great shot of your son Doug but he may be a bit big in the frame for corners. To get this slap on topic would probably ruin the picy so wait until Uncle Tommy gives his verdict as he's being very generous wiv his points lately, mainly to the girls but.
