Thanks Tommy & Mark:-) Well the butterfly really isn't slap dab in the middle so I thought I would bring it well on topic wiv the title cos the 6th (Brent reckons the 5th) dot is smack dab in the middle:-)

Your butterfly is certainly centered horizontally in the image and is the obvious focus of attention. Where in the world you came up with that title... is a mystery to me. lol Markjay

Thanks Carole:-) I got a half decent one with its wings open but it didn't look dab middle. I find shooting things that move is a real pain.

Nice sharp butterfly Rod and I like how the telephoto lens gives a nice blur to the background. Colors look good too! CJ

Thanks Penny & Brent:-) I was in the garden to take a joke shot of a flower like Lonnits blurred mess when this butterfly kept buzzing around a potted tree not staying still long enough for me to think. I got a couple of blurred shots & then upped the Iso for a better shutter speed but could only use a wide open F stop which isn't ideal a. This is me first butterfly picy so I was very pleased, Then again I could have been just lucky that this butterfly kept going around the same tree, before when I tried they would keep going to different plants & I lose interest then.

Five by my count ;-) Itsa good one mate! I'm always impressed how you manage to get macro lens quality out of a non-macro lens. The background looks nice too a?
