So simple, but very nice. The chair does look out of place, but that makes the image fun IMO.

Thanks CJ, Penny and Shu.
CJ/Penny, I didnt pick the other picture posted below as I thought the horizon is breaking up the picture and would be considered off-middle.

I actually prefer your shot below, showing the horizon beyond and giving just another piece of the story. Penny Street

I can do my traveling vicariously through you RK. If you're not all over Europe, you're in the middle of nowhere here in AZ! :-D While this image is good, I really like the other image of the chair more as it shows the vastness of the land and has that dramatic sky looming overhead. The more ornate back on that chair looks out of place with those very pedestrian chair legs. I wonder if someone changed legs? Interesting image, really makes one wonder! :-) CJ

Thanks all. This was taken at Navajo Indian Reservation in Northern Arizona. The weather was really bad, wet/cold/miserable. The chair was part of a road side stall abandoned due to the weather. I moved the chair out a bit for this shot.

Following is a different perspective of this scene...

yes why is there a chair standing? Texture and colors lovely and fit the subject.

I just can't imagine why that chair would be there. Penny Street
