I agree that putting something on the screen which take an ordinary shot sparkle. I believe this would be difficult to light, but fun to try.. maybe for hours lol. But, you can also have a product shot looking over someone's shoulder, or just holding it with a gleeful expression, etc. Just food for thought. jano
If you get a chance to reshoot you might definitely want to diffuse the light, a lot, and bring it in close. Shooting with the 100mm you might not get hand holdable shutter speeds but the light will be very pleasing. I look forward to seeing some re-takes.
I like the clean look about this, Christakis. No shadow... good stuff for a product shot. But, I fear, that it all has to be in focus to "sell" the product. That upper right corner of the product is falling out of focus. Still, white backgrounds are hard to come by in photography... and yet... still I crave them. Good for you. ~Lydia
