The Blind Shot #2

Vancouver, BC

These shots were taken "blindly,"
meaning without looking at the viewfinder,
holding the camera at chest level or lower,
and just hoping the camera was pointed well.
I wanted as candid a shot as possible.

Canon EOS 20D ,Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM
1/125s f/6.3 at 40.0mm iso200 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

We were just walking by, and did not return to the hotel via this spot. So I don't know how well the protest went. I hadn't heard of MAWO before. But a google search can give you all the info you could wish. Many thanks to all.

Good candid shot of the protesters and the "audience" - looks like they are waiting for more protesters to show up and walk around with all those signs on the stairs. CJ

I wonder why all those little sign are just lying there on the steps. Whose rally do you think they belong to? I'm curious what building this is, if you know.

This looks cropped Charlie which is ok of course but tends to contradict the unframed casualness of the idea. Looks like the participation in the demonstration fell short of plan, considering all the unused signs. -tv
