Thanks Techo. I did some dodge and burn to bring out the tones of the trunk. -tv

Very cool! Who would've thought you can make just a tree closeup look this interesting. The extreme fisheye persective is put to really good use here. Also really dig the tones in this shot.

What a masterpiece - the best tree picy ever - what an eye for composition and how expertly processed! :-D Seriously Tom, this is a very good picture of the tree that has a very interesting shape and textures. Nice sky too. :-) CJ

OOPS! Sorry, Tom.

I meant to say, " WOW! What a terrific photo of a tree that looks like an overweight girl with too tight clothes on and her belly button showing. Well done!" *grin* Really, I did. ~Lydia

I thought I was looking a big donut. :)
Is this food and a tree?

Thanks Brent and Debi.
Rod and Lydia, you are supposed to see and appreciate the serious effort the artiist puts into his masterpiece. I was not thinking anthropomorphically at all. I had in mind something more like those Harry Potter trees. Overweight, doughnut indeed and I'm beginning to question Rod's sexual proclivities. -tv

What a great old tree Tommy. Love how you have processed this one.

Definitely a doughnut. Or perhaps an overweight girl with one of those tight shirts on... and her belly button. *grin* ~Lydia

Love the perspective - the black and white rendition also helps - Debi

Thanks Rod. There's room for both. -tv

Wow wot a viewpoint, beautiful tones in the tree & the blue of the sky sets it all off nicely. Great shot mate. The only problem I have with this picy is I don't know whether to feel hungry or horny:-)
