Yes I can see that but I just took it as part of the blurring affect. Bleeding L YB your lens is rooted mate:-)

When the fringing is converted to a B&W picy, it shows up as a bit of gray blurring around the edges of the image. Am I the only one that sees a bit of blur around the heads? Maybe I better check out John's eye chart! :-D CJ

Maybe you remember "chroma" from older photo mags. Anyway this is bw I think cause I can't see any chroma. -tv

I can't see any coloured fringe either on me manly hi res monitor but Carole is using her lap top screen so she doesn't see the full beauty of our picys YB:-)

ca - you learn something new everyday thanks CJ. But I can't see a blue fringe, (and I'm wearing my specs). :)

The CA looks pretty mild on my screen and I think maybe the title put my mind down a path that made this one work for me (fading memories- fading out of focus). Well done YB.

I don't think the ca is a problem here as the picys not very good isit & Y will replace it soon:-)

Sorry YB! From Wikipedia: "In optics, chromatic aberration ........ is the failure of a lens to focus all colors to the same point. It occurs because lenses have a different refractive index for different wavelengths of light (the dispersion of the lens). Chromatic aberration manifests itself as "fringes" of color along boundaries that separate dark and bright parts of the image, because each color in the optical spectrum cannot be focused at a single common point on the optical axis." I noticed the blue fringing around the heads and wondered if this was a problem with the G9. I believe it can be removed in Photoshop or similar programs. I've noticed it in some of my pictures too, particularly around branches against a bright sky. CJ

Nice diagonal line with the heads standing out from the stark sky. Looks like a bit of ca with the G9? CJ
