I think the waterfall and stream in the background are clearly the subject matter of this shot which makes it right for the topic. -dtallakson

Kind of classic framing outdoor nature shot but seems close to on topic althoug the subject isn't clear. I guess it's both which isn't bad. -tv

Yes Carole this challenge is challenging. I'm still thinking up some ideas for elligible and these were the only to OOF shots I could find in my archives. My boys and I hike down the canyon to the brook frequently. -Doug

I think the tree is too big a part of the picture for this to work for this challenge Doug. I bet the brook is really pretty though. This challenge is hard, isn't it! CJ

Agree. This was actually a mistake with the camera not being able to read my mind and focusing on the wrong thing. The challenge for the next two weeks will be trying to find good reason for the subject to be OOF. -Doug
