I like your execution of this, Bruce - moody and grey yet tense and interesting. Great candid, too. Penny Street

On or off topic aside this is the best of the three picys posted. It has some tension & realness so isn't just a pretty picy like the other two or like the ones I post to impress the girls:-)

Lydia,

That's exactly how it happened, sorta. I had the camera on a tripod so I could capture the mood of the bridge. When people aqueezed past me, I took a shot. This guy turned around to say, "What are you taking a picture of?". Hah!

This is my least favorite of your three, Bruce... maybe my least favorite of your work ever... I'm very sorry to say.. .but there you have it. *sigh* It's almost like the man suddenly walked in the way of a great, moody shot. *sigh again* ~Lydia

Were you hanging over the bridge when you took this? No wonder the guy looks startled! :-) Good shot Bruce! CJ

Gawd fancy asking me how you do anything in Photoshop mate, I wouldn't have a clue but some photographers know how to do magic in Photoshop a. It's just the fog looked a bit too perfect for photography with such clarity up to the front line of fog with hardly any graduation of light fall off. As I said in my first comment light & atmospheric conditions can do all sorts of things so you were blessed in this series of picys.
I have noticed you commenting (rarely admittedly) on picys that have been through the photoshop magic filter which is a worry for me as far as photography goes.
So well done on your three picys mate even though only this one was deemed by our host as on topic:-)

No added fog here Rod! How would you do it, anyway? -- Bruce

Three very good picys Bwuce, well done mate. One thing bothers me is the fog/mist on all three picys looks like it's been added in PS, has it? Atmospheric conditions can do all sorts of things so I can't be sure.

I guess you spend much time on that bridge Bruce. This works well and thanks for the bw. The candid impact, even as a blurry capture, contains much mood and action. Terrific idea and execution. -tv

I knew it was yours Bruce from the thumbnail. Good capture with excellent B&W treatment.
