LOL...I have a nephew who likes to clown for photos, too. The depth of field works really well for this image. You need to save this as a leverage tool when he starts high school. ;^) ~dtallakson

Yeah, this is my son . . . he loves posing for "gross out" pictures.

I created a duplicate level, desatureated it and applied a sepia tone. Then I blended the two levels. The shallow DOF effect is created with CS3's lens distortion effect. The G9 just has to deep a DOF to get anything like this.

Bruce - this is disgustingly funny! It looks like something my son would have done if I asked him if I could take a picture of him eating a hot dog! :-D I like the DOF and focus on the end of the "dog" and your toning on this. Did you evenly desat the whole picture or selectively? CJ
