Looks deelish. Where I live in the Pacific NW I buy it fresh & cheap for lunch at the local fish shop. Sans rice. ;)

Hi all,
thanks a lot for your comments. It's a pity that you don't like the shadow. It is as it is ... I didn't use flash - just normal living-room lamps - one lamp from above and another one from left. If you see the shadows as yellowish - then they are yellowish. The colors are correct - I checked them - it is white were it should be white.

Really like the photo (and sushi), but the color of the shadow is a bit distracting.

I bet this is good, and expensive, but I usually eat the cheap ones called California Roll. Nice composition and colors Konstantin! CJ

Nice shot, Konstantin. I don't do sushi but if I did this would make me want some. ~dtallakson

I like the composition but the shadows look a bit odd. Did you use flash and long exposure together? I found that technique messes up the WB giving odd coloured shadows. PS I hate how these bubbles burst in your mouth. Nice taste though.

Yuck. Well photographed yuck. *grin* The colors are really pretty, though... not sure why the shadow is yellow... ~Lydia
