Rod, I'm not great at PP and don't do much more than use the shadows/highlights, brightness/contrast and levels sliders, and for sharpening I usually use Neat Image with a tad of their noise reduction. For this one I think I just lightened it a little with s/h, upped the brightness and contrast, and adjusted the midtones with the levels slider. I also corrected the color cast by reducing the red tones. Kiki would be the expert in this area and could do a much better job than I! :-D CJ

Nice Rod. So juicy.

Thanks Carole it looks a lot better to me, the whites of the fruit look white & it makes the original picy look to have quite a colour cast. You will have to tell all so I can fix this one up. Thanks for doing that.

Rod, I think this could look a bit better with a little more PP - here's my version in Pending. Hope I didn't go overboard on it! CJ

Thanks Lydia:-) The fruit was on a white plate so I don't know how it ended up pink. It was a Jpeg shot so I couldn't play with it with my poor PS skills.

This reminds me... in a tiny way... of Techo's fruit balancing act. I hope he'll enter it.

Good color here, Rod... but I'd prefer that pinkish background to be white or black... but that's just me. ~Lydia

Thanks Suey, Aamm & DT:-) Yes go for it DT, an orange you grew yourself will make a great masterpiece. The lime here is off our tree so to have two masterpieces in the one challenge will be a real treat:-)

This is good Rod but I'm not happy because I was going to do it. I even picked an orange from my tree to star in my masterpiece. (I may still do it!) ~dtallakson

Very nice and I like citrus, the more sour it is the better.

Looks better and brighter.

Really good, mate. You need a flash to bring to life, though.
