Yes, I admit that the grey was hard to get rid of. This was taken outside my back door. My daughter left it behind on her way into the city.

This is nicely done Penny especially the exposure & nice composition. Cameras meters try to make the snow grey but you have kept the white in there & also captured the textures. Just be careful of silly titles as we shouldn't be telling the viewer what to think. Part of the magic of Ahrt is the viewer getting involved & letting their imagination interpret the picy which hopefully gives it some meaning to them.

Hmm looks like evidence - just about my size. Now where did you say you found this? :-) Seriously, nice job with difficult subject. -tv

Glad you are liking the new lens Penny, it does look sharp. This image reminds me of that recent whole week when I couldn't drive my car or ride my bike and had to walk everywhere in that white stuff- it got old!
Ouch! Take care of that broken toe.

Thanks for the comments.
I've only had this lens for a month now and with the holidays and the bad weather (not to mention my broken toe) I haven't done my usual quota of picture taking. But, so far I can definitely say it's much sharper than the Tamron -I can use the higher ISOs without worry and, just generally, the pictures are better.
