I still like the colors. Better than the onion. Penny STreet

No problem aam :)
But it is interesting what people regard as yukky. This is a dried up piece of lemon.

YB, sorry to disappoint you but I'm with Rod on this one. Excellent colors and texture, superb even. But I still get the "yukky" impression Rod mentioned. Cheers, mate :)

The only thing missing here is a few flies & maggots, it does look yukky a. The colours are very good but.

Hi YB, you went for a real deep title there. The picture is both nasty and nice at the same time. However it works. Nice :)

OK, I see it now that you mention the seeds. Interesting. -Doug

Hi Penny you are really on the ball. :)

The top left hand corner looks like a plastic bag of oranges. But in fact it is a close up (nearly touching) of a dried up half of an old lemon my wife had left in the refrigerator, (you can judge the dimensions by the size of the seeds).

Oranges and Lemons, of course. This is a really nice photo. Great color. Great abstract (almost - at least by composition) closeup. With a tripod? Or at least a wall to rest the camera on? Penny Street

Hi Troy - no oooey and definitely not gooey. As for the title, as with most questions Google has the answer.

Don't understand the title again and this look oooey, gooey. Whatever it is.
