Just read the text Penny & not between the lines:-) I read Dougs post as very complimentary as you got so many shades of blue, even in the very darkest areas. In fact he loves this picy more than any other & he will be giving all his five votes to it. I know, I know he didn't actually say that, I just read between the lines:-)

So Doug, do you think the darks aren't dark enough?
Actually, I don't know why this is blue. It's a clear crystal bowl. I use daylight for WB and had natural light through a window (but not direct). Under the bowl was a green sort of sparkly surface. I actually desaturated the blue.
Any thoughts appreciated. Penny Street

reminds me of a blue marble my brother had as a kid ~Debi

Looking closely reveals almost every shade blue. Even the blacks aren't really black but rather are dark blue. -Doug

"Crystal Sea" indeed. I know it made me think of something but I couldn't define what.. I seem to be having trouble finding words through the cloud of my blood pressure medication.. or at least I hope that's all it is. -tv

This could be the ceiling in a modern building, or the set for a space age film. Great abstract with varying shapes and flows of colour patterns.
