Very colorful abstract Debi! I like the curves and even the reflections add interest. CJ

Debi the problem is the reflections are at variaious angles so there is no easy fix from a polarizer. I like Rod's earlier poor man's studio suggestions that can be surprisingly effective. Oh.. did I forget to say this is nice work. In spite of the glare, the colors show through. In fact the glare adds additional interest so... you can ignore all the suggestions. -tv

The old film type polariser would do the job by controlling the reflections so I would imagine the circular ones would do the same. With the older ones you could twist the outer ring & sort of dial in how much reflection you want as long as you were on a 45deg angle from the reflection, if I remember right.

Would a CP suit this kind of situation ?

Thanks for the suggestions Rod ~ Debi

Nicely done megirl it looks very good. If you want to tame the reflections you can just shade the shell with white paper or white cloth. You will still get some reflections which you need for modelling the subject but they won't look so bright.

Debi and Penny, for the reflection, a circular polarizer might help here. A CPL is good for non-metallic reflections.

Move it to eligible?????? Absolutely not - it's a terrific abstract with very nice color!!! I am wondering, though, if one of the masters of photography here would know how to reduce the glare of the glass (I wouldn't.)
