I don't know if you'd call the actual image "zen." But the process of taking the photo was a lot like Zen archery - see the composition, raise camera, frame, shoot. No thought. All in one second, tops. - Paul

The picture as such makes sense to me.. it's like the two people ascending the staircase could be the two shapes that are "missing" from the sculpture. Like they're part of the same unit, just heading in each their direction. Nice catch, anyway. As to whether it's Zen or not, I haven't the faintest clue :)

Welcome, Paul!

I like this, too... but for zen...?? I don't know ... Without the people it seems very at peace... but the people at the edge like that adds tension to the shot to me. I like the shot... it just doesn't say 'zen' to me. :) ~Lydia
