Absolutely spot-on shot for this competition Rod. I really like the way you've handled the B&W, especially the contrast and the vignetting. Well done. keithinmelbourne

This image is a rare one - something that stimulates the starved senses and tweeks our visual vitality. Want a striking vision of vectors? Here it is in its not so subtle form but the result is exciting. The lines of the shapes and the lines extended from the edges of those same shapes dance with the frame, project and lock into the corners, and play coyly with both. If this is difficult to see, try projecting the lines, including the edges of the shapes, to the frame an consider not only the directions but the rebound to and off of the frame back into the image. The thrusts of these lines and intersections with other lines (and vectors) work in the frame and how they make a seemingly ordinary shot such a stimulating visual experience. -tv

Thanks Sharon, Penny, Carole, & Tom:-) I was getting desperate thinking there's no opposite picys around me local area, which aint good. I was thinking don't tell me I have to get off me bum & maybe go into the city & surrounds for a picy, so hopefully me entries will be good enough to save me the trip. When I retire next year I will definitely make more of an effort:-)

The point(s) is clear. B&W works well with this. I like the diagonal lines at upper right, completes the composition.
