10th: Short & tall, black & white in the Tate Modern
by keithinmelbourne

London

I think I may have posted this in the right place this time! I was skulking in the Tate Modern with a 1D MkIII earlier this year.
It's not a skulking camera . . . really. I saw this couple and couldn't resist the shot. I was promptly berated by the gallery attendants
(probably breached copyright on the painting), and obediently took no more shots. If only I'd had my G10 then,
maybe with a Flipbac mirror. I could've kept on skulking.

This is a wonderful shot, Keith! I agree about carrying a big camera, I have been warned off more places because I am not carrying a point-and-shoot. You did good to get this shot though! ~Sharon

Great capture. Thumbs down to Tate Modern - you can take photos in the Turbine Hall (as long as you do not use a tripod). Get yourself and your G10 to the new Saatchi Gallery, unrestricted photography, and a host of photographic opportunities.
