What a surreal effect! The pose might have been enough to make a subtle point but flipped it is mind boggling. I love it. -tv

I looks like he should be hanging suspended from the grass. Even cooler would be to shoot from an even lower angle, so that more of the horse's body sticks out (or down) against the darker part of the background. In any case, it's kind of a mind-bending shot.

Hmmm.... good idea, tv. Actually, horses do this only when they feel safe. They roll back and forth to scratch their back. I appreciate the critique very much. !Lydia

I think to make this "opposite" you should flip it. Fun picy but having just seen YB's "root" or whatever, this poor horse looks petrified in that position - or maybe it's the unnatural color and frame that freezes it. -tv
