I think the new PP worked well to bring out the textures in the red leaves - I can even see droplets on them! Good work! :-) CJ

Thanks Carole. Frankly I was shy about processing this because I always seem to lose detail. But I've now redone it with some sharpening which may add some snap. Maybe it's also hampered by a bit of motion blur because I don't think the IS works well when pointed down. -tv

Lovely color combo Tom but this doesn't seem quite as sharp as the tree picy. Would different PP help bring out the textures of the red leaves more? CJ

The Canon unruley reds are still with us. I find I often have to selectively desaturate them.

For YB I am putting some crops of 600x800 pixels (out of 4416x3312) in Pending to show that high ISOs are not much use except in desparation. -tv

Agree with Mary Anne, I have the same issue (red and to lesser extent, yellow) with my new camera.

Like the overall feel/color of the photo.

You know, I think the Canon sensor is still having trouble with red. To me, the green grass and dandelion leaves and other plants all seem much sharper than the red leaves. My G3 and 350D both do the same thing.

Like to see some shots with a high ISO to see how the G10 performs. At 80 it certainly comes up trumps - full credit to the person holding the camera.

Too funny! Rod and I both had to look up a color wheel at the same time! You got us Tommy! ~Sharon

I looked up a color wheel just to be sure and sure enough, red and green are opposite each other on the wheel. The leaves and grass make a nice pattern but the shot might be improved if there was one focal point for the eye to rest on amongst the leaves. Great color! ~Sharon

I just had a look at me colour wheel, I should have known that you of all people would get it right:-) Itsa a bit girly but it's right on topic a. Well done Tommy.
