Thanks Sharon, Tommy, Aamm & me ole mate Pete:-) As Pete said, Red & green are opposites on the colour wheel. Red & blue too if you stretch it:-)

The contrast between the dull-colored seed pod and the flamboyant feathers makes for good opposites. An excellent bird portrait as well! ~Sharon

Great shot but not so illustrative of the topic. Some opposites but not the primary thrust of the photo. Still excellent so leave it or, better, save it for the challenge I plan for some day if I ever win again among so much talent.. -tv
