Thanks for the suggestion David. Penny I have put the original in pending now.

Debi - if you have the original, why don't you post it in pending so we can see the difference? Penny Street

Nicely done. Just a thought: The "center of gravity" is shifted toward the top/right which feels a bit unnatural to me - I think the "stuff" would look better on bottom left while keeping the open space on top right. DaB

I like this. (I didn't see the original.)

But, I like highly-processed images. ~Lydia

I saw the original and although I think this one works better for the topic, I agree that it doesn't have the same feel as the other version, but this is still very good Debi! :-) CJ

Didn't see the original, but this is very nice.

Image changed- I do feel the punch is lost - debi

If you could make the background more benign then go for it...

I would leave it alone Debi because it looks great as is. Trying to make it fit the topic might ruin it. It's like holding an ace that isn't in trump. -Doug

Hmmm, this is a great image Debi but maybe says color a little too much to me given the topic. Perhaps if the green was toned down a little as mentioned, this one is just a tough call for me.

Well Debi, I really like this pic (texture, composition, and color tone), and I find the isolated red puts this on topic. Then again, I can't say I quite understand the real meaning of the topic. My vote (not that it counts) is to keep it. :-) - angioman

What if I tone down the yellow? Or may be I will just get another picture, too much effort to change the style - Debi
COAmature 25-Oct-2008 16:10
My first thought was that it was full of texture. My second was of the color. That doesn't bode to well topic wise. -Doug

Even though Penny is the boss this doesn't look like minimal colour to me, it looks very coloured. Great picy though.
ctfchallenge25-Oct-2008 12:24
There's no question that this fits the topic in the dominant color against a benign background way.
Nice one, Debi. Penny Street

Thanks for the feedback YB. Sorry for all the trouble it has caused you :D - Debi

Life was a lot easier when I didn't post comments :(
With this Challenge I seem to be contradicting myself with every comment made.
I think the rust colour dominates the picture.
My brain hurts - I think I'll go back to not posting comments
