Nice clean shot and glow. Like others have mentioned, I would have liked to see a little more background, so the leaf wasn't quite so centered.

Thank you :)
next time, I'll try to get more of the table but now all the leaves are blown away with the wind and rain...

Yes very well done Suey, you captured the light really nicely. Maybe a bit more wood but It works for me anyhow.

Textures are well captured here Sueanne! - angioman

Thank you Doug,
At the time, I was shooting for a macro and then decided to submit for the challenge. So this is the way I shot it, no crop. :(
Thanks you Tv, it's good you're drinking beer, next time I shoot a leaf, I'll drink one too. :)

Miraculous minimizing of the mighty red Sue Anne. Excellent image well proportioned in the frame makes my eyes tingle - or maybe its the beer. -tv

Great lighting and plenty of texture. The lines in the wood are nice too. Agree with Debi that zoomed back to capture more of the wood would have been good. -COAmature

This is beautiful - may be a bit more of the background would have helped in emphasising the minimal colour - Debi
