Too bad, Lydia, your pun was "un-intended" ;-)) I have enjoyed it a lot! Thanks for your friendly remark! -- db.

It *is* fascinating, Penny; but I do not think there is a need for you to hurry: the "Perito Moreno" is one of the few glaciers worldwide not being in "recession" ;-)) so "the latter" might "happen first" (sorry for you to say). And, no, I did not do any trekking myself: if you knew in what state my knee has been in for the last nearly fourteen years, you would not even have asked... -- db.

A really cool image (no pun intended). Beautiful. !Lydia

well the colors are fascinating. I guess I better go visit this before either the glacier is gone or I'm too old (not sure which will happen first). Were you trekking too? Penny Street

Nowhere, Penny: the sky did not go anywhere. This *was* the sky as was there (as boring as it may seem). And--just to avoid any misunderstanding--there has not been either any other special post-processing done for the challenge; you see the image as I found it this morning on my computer's hard-disc. Thanks for commenting! -- db.
