I don't really mind the car, something should be always in the backround. IMHO the round wheel fits to the baskets. DaB

Wonderful colors in this Debi, and too bad about the car although it does show the contrast between traditional and modern society. You could blur the background to help place more emphasis on the woman and a little adjustment in levels, shadows/highlights and brightness/contrast really brings out the colors and textures of her dress and baskets of food. Good picy! :-) CJ

I find candid street scenes very difficult, as I never know how people are going to react. I suppose you can ask first, but then the spontaneity is lost. You've given us many stellar shots, Debi, and we're all benefiting from this view into another culture. No big deal if some aren't as good as we'd like. Certainly we can still appreciate the stories they tell.

Thanks for the feedback Tommy & Brent- may be some use of the blur tool in photoshop - let me see :D - Debi

I'm still thinking this is a great image Debi, but perhaps a shallower DOF might have helped if the bloke wasn't going to move his car? Possibly the car was just too close. I do love these street scenes of yours.

Plenty of bright primary local "color" pop from the bland earthy colors. Just ask the driver to pull forward a couple of feet. -tv

The car is okay but the wheel is distracting. And I take back my vote for mate.
Nice local yarn, Debi.

You did support the use of * didn't you :) Well "mate" this looks more like a snapshot rather than a photograph, to me at least. Was thinking of a tighter crop but the car behind is not helping.

Good picy again mate:-) I can't get enough of your local shots.
