thanks tv. I guess if we hang around here long enough we could all begin to look alike. Penny Street

Very busy bw in close competition with Rod's Harley without internal combustion. Your's is greener but you must be from the same photo school - maybe you're a bloke too. Seriously very good bw and extremely busy. -tv

Yes the whites look very good too. The whole picy has good contrast without being overdone. I think B&W picys mostly need good deep blacks & tones through to white but it's the blacks that can make a B&W picy. Compare this picy to my Aussie Tucker B&W I didn't get any rich blacks like you have here & for me B&W picys always look best towards the darker look which seems to give them more mood/feel. This picy looks just right on my monitor. Itsa shame the comments slacken off in the last stages as I think some of the better picys get posted late & you can wonder if they don't like the picy as an earlier picy got lots of comments.

Thanks Rod and Debi (and for being a girl) -
Rod, you mentioned the blacks but are the whites bright enough? I'm always so conscious not to show any overexposed parts and I can't decide if this is too dark. I'd love anybody else's opionion on this too.

I thought we had a new challenger from Holland when I first saw this. This looks so busy & a great candidate for B&W. Excellent shot Penny the blacks look very good so do the other tones. If the other girls don't like this then I don't know girls:-)
