Great street shot well composed and captured in that instant of frozen time that can be so compelling as a slice of life. The downcast eyes are especially poignant. The pole on the left is the visual equivalent of stopping all forward motion - no more room and no where to go. -tv

Debi's husband has not seen her home for the last two Saturdays as she was working from 9-9. And this Saturday she was busy sleeping :D

Thanks Doug, Rod & Penny. I am not sure whether I have really improved or its just the camera doing a lot better than my S3. This was just processed in Picasa and the reds tuned down a bit before sharpening. I get very little time to shoot. Most of my pics are taken from the cab on the way to office. Debi

Great street candid with nice subdued colors and pleasing subjects. And it's busy with life. Penny Street

I was right about both of you Doug. Your problem is you're spending way too much time wiv your wife & kids:-) Debi's hubby, who's not seen her all weekend has dinner ready for her when she finally gets home from shooting:-)
Rod 04-Oct-2008 20:55
Debi Webi you're really tuning your eye in for taking shots like this giving us a fantastic glimpse of one part of Indian life. The girl being cut off in the frame & just out of the DOF makes this a great picy. The boy wistfully daydreaming is just magical. Geez the colours of India must play havoc wiv your camera sensor a, so I imagine early or late light & overcast conditions would be your best friends for shooting picys. I will have to come over so you can teach me how to get these terrific picys & when you come to OZ I will teach you how to get pretty girly picys like I shoot:-)
