Thanks Peter:-) Yes even if people don't like motor bikes they would have to appreciate a Harley, a work of art.

:Eye Candy:
I love the detail of chromed out Harley's. American manufacturing at its best.

Thanks Brent & Doug:-) No I don't think we normally use that term for Harley's but it's typical Aussie to put a silly name to things. I thought you would like this one Doug:-)

Chrome is a beautiful thing. Polishing it is part of the fun, for some. -COAmature

Good thought to capture this and very well taken Rod. Do they commonly call these bikes "throbbers" down there- seems like a good colorful Aussie term.

I think you call them pick up trucks in the colonies:-) Utility vehicle, we seem to shorten names a lot down here.

Thanks Penny, Carole & Tommy:-) Yes a bit luck involved here, I was in the council offices (we subcontract to the council) & a bloke walked past in a leather jacket which seemed unusual in the office. He was in his 50s, when I had finished the paper work I went back outside to me ute & saw this gleaming Harley parked next to it. So the owner is probably going through his mid life crises & bought himself a Harley:-) I think he must spend more time cleaning it than he does riding it. I was a bit worried about the highlights blowing out as the sun was behind me shining right into the chrome but by slightly angling the camera & wiv the exposure on evaluative it seems to have worked out OK.

This is great Rod - busy and still pleasing to the eye - good job with all those reflective surfaces! :-) CJ

Good strategy Rod. Play dumb about the topic then post a zinger. BTW is this a show bike? I"m ignorant about how they keep them so clean. -tv

Thank you darling Debi:-) How lucky was I to come across a spotlessly clean Harley outside a place I was at today.
