I don't think I've seen another city that uses balconys in restaurants to much and so well - which adds to the visual busy feeling. -tv

Thanks Lydia and Sue Anne. Top Pot Donuts is a Seattle chain with just a few shops. They seem to have a successful formula of finding architecturally significant spaces and giving them an upscale nifty "mid century" appeal. I believe this space started out as an engineering office in the 40's.

Thanks you guys :-) I'm not that crazy about the IQ of this one where light was a struggle, but Top Pot is always busy to be sure. I went for a muffin with a wet cappuccino.

Top Pot!!!! Yes, I am guilty of having waited in that line (only for coffee of course!) Seattle is such a great place to take busy pictures and this is a really fine example - Penny Street
