Ok. It is a base guitar. I only went as my neigbour was in this band and he is a very good guitarist. PeteH

I guess technically it is a bass guitar though I have always refered to such players as the bassist in the band. This coming from a guy with an upright bass that you are surely not going to be able to hold like this. -COAmature

Is it not really a bass guitar? I always thought so and would like to be corrected if this is not true. I think standing out in the rain to watch these folks under a tent would not be 'my cup of tea'. I prefer just to see your photos of it later. :) ~Lydia

Raining and in a tent sounds perfect to me. I enjoy an intimate setting with live music. The red lighting sets the mood nicely. This gent is playing a bass though Pete. -COAmature
