thanks Lydia, CJ, Tom and tv. We took a short trip north to Niagara Falls this past weekend - there were lots of tourists and cameras (including mine) around in spite of the wet weather. My pictures of the falls are awful.

This is a good lens for me, Debi. Tamron does a good job and the flexibility works well because I'm lazy and clumsy and I don't like carrying extra lenses around.I think I'm gradually getting better at holding it steady. That's been my biggest problem.
