It'e the same smile from him, either way, tv. That's his smile. *grin* ~Lydia

The frog doesn't seem to approve of this informal mugging for the camera. He seems to do better in more posed settings. -tv

"The house and pool and yard and surrounding area all had to be perfect."

I think I sounded like this was told to me. It was not. I was the one who has the 'perfection standard'. *sigh* ~Lydia

LOL...Lydia, this is a great shot. You have a lovely smile but I can't say that Mr. Toad seems to be smiling much. Perhaps he doesn't know that you are a reptile photographer extraordinare and that he's missing out on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity by not showing his pearly whites? ;^) ~dtallakson

Well done on commenting Lydia.............I now like you again:-)

Rod, you have NO idea... Gee... I just finished up a MARATHON cleanup for a teen pool party that happened this afternoon. *I survived!* I had burned my leg pretty badly pressure washing the pool deck... but the work still had to be done, and I was the 'man' for the job. *sigh*

The house and pool and yard and surrounding area all had to be perfect. My pond pump went out, of course, and I had to fix that... You get the idea, I'm sure.

The only reason I got this shot for the challenge is that when I finally settled in to rest last night, my youngest brought me the toad. He was so proud of his gift, that I just had to shoot something. He stood and watched. :)

I hate the shot. I'll probably send it off to Pending. I look so tired... ~Lydia

Do you like any of the other picys posted so far Lydia?...........I know I know... busy busy.

God that toad looks mean - your smile surely balances it out - funny one - Debi
ctfchallenge30-Aug-2008 13:15
While yours is clearly a smile, Mr Toad seems a bit perturbed:-) Too bad you didn't have your ring finger on top - could have looked like a crown on your prince:))) angioman

LOL! Youngest son brought me this HUGE toad late last night and I was tired, but didn't have the heart not to shoot something with it since he was all into it (son, not toad). :) ~Lydia

The wide angle lens does no justice to the frog but you still look luvly...........And yes I'm still in luv wiv ya:-)

OK, I'm still laughing, but am at least able to type.
Lydia, I think this is great; however, I don't know what the smiles are supposed to convey.
No, you don't look fat or manly. The short focal length gives that nice close-in look. (not manly, but you've got ba... for posting this) ha, no offense.

This is great Lydia. You gave me an honest smile. This is so full of life with your wonderful personality just beaming. -COAmature
